Organic Yoga Clothing From Asquith London To Workout Free Of Toxins

Workout Free Of Toxins With Asquith London's Eco Activewear

We all know about organic food and why it is so important, but do you ever consider the number of pesticides used to make the clothing you wear? It turns out that while exercising may be healthy, what you are wearing while doing it could be harmful. The potential presence of toxic chemicals in our workout gear should be troubling because it’s designed to sit against the skin in high-friction, high-movement, high-heat, and high-moisture environments when we work out.

This is where Asquith London‘s eco activewear comes in. By purchasing organic clothing, you can avoid toxins from leaching into your body altogether and have total peace of mind while working out.

Why I love Asquith

Ever So Versatile

Asquith London Eco Activewear

Asquith‘s pieces are not only great for yoga, pilates, and other workouts, they are also elegant enough to wear out and about.

Ethically Made

Eco activewear

From Seed To Garment, Asquith London produce ethically made pieces and never put profit before people or the planet. Their garments are made in Turkey in a family run factory. All of the employees have 9-5 working hours, paid holidays and love working in the happy environment that is the Asquith factory.

Fabrics Used

Bamboo Fabric used at Asquith London

Asquith London use 3 different fabrics in their clothing; Bamboo, Organic Cotton, and Bambor®. These fabrics are all Oeko-Tex certified which means they have a low carbon footprint and biodegradable fibers.

  • Bamboo

Bamboo is a very low-impact fabric that grows faster and absorbs more carbon dioxide than hardwood trees. It’s naturally anti-bacterial, breathable and wicks away sweat, making it ideal for activewear.

  • Organic Cotton

A breathable, durable fabric that keeps its shape, doesn’t fade, or stretch and feels amazing on. It is GOTS certified organic meaning that it is ethically grown, chemical free and responsibly manufactured.

  • Bambor®

Asquith’s trademarked fabric Bambor® is a blend of organic cotton, bamboo and a small percentage of Elastane (to provide additional stretch capabilities). It is super soft, wicks away sweat and moulds to your body for full comfort.

Review Of Asquith’s Ethical Activewear

The lovely team behind Asquith London sent me a few of their pieces to test the quality before promoting them via Ethically Engaged. I only ever promote brands that align with my values and that I know you would love too!

I was sent the

Divine Pants in Sand, Ivory, Ocean

Asquith London - Ethically Made Divine pants - eco activewear

First things first are the Divine Pants. From yoga, pilates to lounging around at home, these pants are very versatile. They feature an elastane waistband and flowy bamboo fabric which is breathable and somewhat stretchy too. They have a simple gathering at the waist and medium-sized side pockets. I am going to start yoga in the coming weeks and know that these would be perfect for that due to their loose fitting and stretchiness.

Batwing Sweatshirt in Pale Grey Marl

Asquith London - Ethically Made Batwing Sweatshirt - eco activewear

The Batwing Sweatshirt features side seams and pouch pockets to deliver a unique yet flattering look. It is incredibly comfy and is a perfect coverup on days with a slight chill in the air or after a gym session.

Conquer Cami in Ocean

Asquith London - Ethically Made Conquer Cami - eco activewear

Saving the best for last, the Conquer Cami is one of the comfiest active tops I have ever worn. It is clear to see that by choosing comfort, you don’t need to compromise on design and style at Asquith. This beauty features large double crossover straps which add to the comfort and look. The cami also has a built-in sports bra, which is a great touch. Oh, and who else love’s this ocean blue colour?!
